My how time passes

In about a week and a half, Dutton birthday season begins.

Alys will turn 19 on April 4
Rick will turn 51 on May 2 (there he is going over the hill in front of me again...)
Niko will turn 21(!!!) on June 12
I turn 51 on August 11
Kat will turn 23 (holy moley, that is unquestionably in the adult range!) on August 28

Also, on June 6 (D-Day and my parent's anniversary date as well) Rick and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

All those years when kindly little old ladies would see me struggling with my toddlers while shopping and pat me on the shoulder and say "Enjoy it now Dearie, they'll grow up so fast" suddenly takes on new meaning.

How the heck did this happen? I don't regret a minute of it all, but my goodness, when you look back at it, the years seem to have passed incredibly quickly!

Looking forward to gajillions more!

Well, look who's here! Nice ta see ya!
I totally thought you had a kid my age, for some reason, only to find out that your oldest is less than a month younger than my little sister (she is 8/4/89)! Also, you were born the same year as my mom :)
Heh, I just went through the majority of my kids' birthdays (and one just around the corner) in March! Mel's was March 19 (jinkies can he actually be freaking 30 already???), Zander just turned 15(!!!) on the 21st and Benjamin's birthday is on the 18th of April and he will be THIRTEEN OMG HOW DID THAT HAPPEN???

Then there's the kids' grandmother whose birthday was on the Ides of March and shhhhhhh, Woozle's birthday is May 11 (and if people totally surprise her with cards and stuff, i totally won't have a problem with that ;D) and then my sister's is in June.

i'll be 11 yet again still52 on Halloween. And Josh's birthday on December 12th will mark his TWENTIETH. 0.o

The time does rather go by fast, doesn't it?
